SARINZ Training Courses are aimed at SAR practitioners, who are keen to update their SAR skills. SARINZ Training is open to everyone, although some SARINZ courses have prerequisites.

SARINZ courses are delivered to a range of organisations and agencies with responsibilities in the wider outdoor and emergency services sectors as well as industry groups and others undertaking rope and water based activities. This reflects the fact that the skills contained in SARINZ courses are core to most emergency response situations and useful in a number of other contexts.

	Search Programme The Search programme consists of all of the training courses designed primarily for those undertaking operational roles in the field. It includes Search Methods and the Tracking programmes.
	Rescue Programme The Rescue programme includes all aspects of rope and technical rescue, helicopter strop rescue, avalanche rescue, water rescue and First Aid training.
	Leadership and Management Programme The Leadership and Management programme consists of all of the training courses designed primarily for those undertaking roles in a management team. It includes SAR management training, CIMS training, computer based training and generic leadership training for all sectors of the emergency response sector.
	Accredited & Customised Training Specialist training outlines the process for requesting customised training to meet specific training requirements.
