SARINZ exists to "help others save lives." Apart from providing operational support another of the ways we can support you in saving lives is to keep you as informed as possible with developments in the SAR world nationally and internationally.

SARINZ is now accepting expressions of interest from people interested in attending the following courses in 2008*

Managing Land Search Operations (MLSO) - expressions of interest sought for North Island course 2008

The Land Search Management course is now the search management "standard" in nine countries and its accompanying student text is the base reference tool in thirteen countries.

Expressions of interest to gauge the need for a SARINZ coordinated course in the North Island in November are sought, venue and dates yet to be determined but possibly somewhere central mid November to coincide with the LandSAR conference. This is a 5 day course and is likely to be run straddling a weekend, eg Friday - Tuesday or Saturday - Wednesday etc

SARINZ Newsletter - 'HeadsUp'

To assist in this process the SARINZ HeadsUp quarterly newsletter was started in July 2006 and via this newsletter we will attempt to keep you informed on current issues, training developments and general topics of interest. You can view current or previous versions on-line or download them as pdf files for later viewing.
