Continuation, Refresher & Customised Training

Continuation and/or refresher training for all of the core Search, Rescue and Management courses is now available.

Refresher training, skills maintenance training, revalidation, practical exercises - all these terms are interchangeable with our workshops to update, refresh and renew the key skills, concepts and methodologies from the original courses.  These are practical based, hands-on sessions where you will be out performing the various techniques and skills.

Duration:

The length of the training is your decision, based upon your needs - you tell us what suits you! Evening sessions? One day? Two days? Five Days? Contact SARINZ to let us know how we can help you and to discuss options.

Entry Criteria:

Every refresher will have a large focus on practical skills and attendees being able to refine and implement the systems. As the intention is to focus on the practical application of the skills, attendees must have previously completed the full course with SARINZ.

Assessment? Paperwork?

A key focus of the workshops is hands-on skills practise and in most instances you will not have to even use a pen! No formal assessment will occur as part of the refresher training.
