
Normally grouped with other specialist training, these modules cover knowledge and skills related to the theory and practice of specific lost subject categories. They provide much more detail on the specific subject categories than can be provided in more general courses. Application of training to search and rescue is provided through scenarios and practical exercises.
Duration: Modules may be delivered separately but are normally grouped with components from other courses to suit participant’s needs and so the duration will vary. Pre-course work will often be available and assessment will occur alongside the training.
Recommended for: all search and rescue personnel.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of the Search Methods course is an entry requirement
Course Numbers: minimum 14 and maximum 24
