
These modules cover knowledge and skills related to the theory and practice of searching for missing or "lost" Alzheimer's sufferers. These modules provide much more detail on the specific subject categoriesthan can be provided in more general courses such as the Search Methods or Suburban Search courses. Application of training to search and rescue is provided through table top exercises, scenarios , real life case studies and practical exercises.

Duration: Eligible for NZLSAR subsidy. Modules may be delivered separately but are normally grouped and delivered as a one day workshop, however they may also be grouped with components from other courses to suit participant’s needs. Duration will therefore vary. Assessment occurs alongside the training.
Recommended for: all search and rescue personnel.
Prerequisites: There are no prerequisites for this course although completion of the Search Methods and TCA courses (or higher) is a great advantage.
Venue recommendations: classroom type settings, OHP, Data Projector etc
