Multi Agency Training

SARINZ recognises the increased specialisation occurring throughout the Emergency Response sector. SARINZ are proactive in developing training events where this specialist knowledge can be implemented in operational environments. At SARINZ we recognise that you may require training that is customised to your workplace and/or environment. Your training may include modules from any of the our formal training courses or can be developed for your specialist needs.
As a registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) we can deliver and assess against standards on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). For an full list of SARINZ accreditation scope visit our provider page

Search Training
From the bush to the beach, workplace to the wilderness, SARINZ has devised a range of search and management courses to equip individuals with sound knowledge, research and practical skills to find people in a range of environments. Many lives have been saved applying the skills and knowledge from the training. These courses include the international benchmark “Managing Land Search Operations” course customised to New Zealand. The CIMS for SAR is a Level 4 CIMS course customised for New Zealand SAR practioners whilst including the requisite multi agency response scenarios. All courses are based on contributions from leading SAR management experts and theorists.

Rescue Training
SARINZ rescue programme begins with personal skill development through to advanced technical rescues completed in a series of testing and realistic scenarios in various environments. The techniques are based on sound theory and operationally tested by leading experts from New Zealand and internationally.
