Clothing and Equipment

  • Cactus Climbing Equipment If you want equipment and clothing that is built to last this is the place to get it!

Cactus has been in business since 1992. We are a small hard working company in Christchurch, New Zealand designing and manufacturing high quality sewn solutions for the outdoors. Traditionally we have manufactured day and alpine packs for climbers, guides and skifields along with carrying solutions for the likes of NZ Post and the Fire Service. Recently we have branched out into more clothing with our proprietary Dreadnought canvas trousers.

  • Swazi Clothing Swazi are strong supporters of SAR in NZ and there clothing is top notch too!

Swazi has been designing and manufacturing high performance outdoor clothing for almost ten years. We started because, basically, we were tired of getting wet and cold every time we went out into the bush. All of our products are made right here in New Zealand and we intend to keep it that way. Our people intimately understand the harsh conditions that can arise in the outdoors and as such ensure that each product that leaves our workshop is fully up to the task. Our motto is: If we can't make the best product there is, we won't make it.
